Proposals were submitted for discussion on such areas as:

  • better exchange of information 
  • use of NGOs in research and providing background information and analysis 
  • meetings on a regular bases 
  • support from NGOs in training Mission members

Some CSCECSCE
Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe participating States called for better co-ordination among NGOs, while the latter requested the appointment of NGONGO
non-governmental organization-liaison officers who would be able to contact relevant CSCE institutions.
