Post-War Times: Reconsidering the Future of Civil Society. International Conference

The purpose of the event is to provide a platform for civil society organizations to discuss its role in the current situation, to define current priorities, and to find points of contact and vision for restoration of Ukraine and further development of the civil society. The Conference will bring together key stakeholders, including the civil society organizations, representatives of the government and local authorities, national and international donors, business, international media.

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator supports the conference inter alia by organising two in-person side events for civil society in Lviv:
- 28 April 2022, 10:00 – 18:00, Workshop “How to Strengthen and Preserve Internal Cohesion of Civil Society Organizations in the Post-War Times”. The event will help participants to understand factors that endanger teamwork, cause divisions and conflicts within civil society organisations or with outside partners. Participants will learn about ways to manage such situations and explore how to preserve cohesion built in their communities in the face of war. Detailed description of the event in Ukrainian is attached below. Registration of participants:
- 29 April 2022, 13:30-18:00 – Event–Café "Youth Dialogues about the Post-War Times.The Beginning”. The event will serve as a launch pad for the process of forming the vision of how the youth can further develop their civic competencies. The Conference is orgnanised by the Initiative Center to Support Social Action "Ednannia" (ISAR Ednannia, Ukraine) and the Foundation for Development of Educational System (FRSE, Poland) with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, a Project of the German Marshall Fund. Conference co-partners are USAID Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity, European Union within the project "EU Emergency Support 4 Civil Society" and the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine. Co-creators of the Conference are: Public Association “Reanimation Package of Reforms Coalition”; Ukraine 5 AM Coalition devoted to documenting war crimes; the Ukrainian Women’s Fund within the project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Ukraine” by the support of the Government of Canada; Ukrainian Institute; Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law; Internews Ukraine; NGONGO
