About

The conference will gather government representatives, as well as relevant stakeholders from international organisations, academia, civil society organisations and leaders of Jewish communities and local activists, offering a platform for dialogue on challenges and good practices in addressing Anti-Semitism.

This is the first conference of the Polish OSCE Chairmanship and will be addressed among others by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Zbigniew Rau;  OSCE Secretary General, Helga Schmid; UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Dr. Ahmed Shaheed; ODIHR Director, Matteo Mecacci; OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Special Representative on Anti-Semitism, Racism, and Intolerance, Sen. Ben Cardin.

Four main topics will be discussed: current risks and challenges of combating Anti-Semitism in the OSCE area; addressing Anti-Semitism online; fostering Jewish life revival and role of local activists; addressing Anti-Semitism and Anti-Roma discrimination in and through education.

The event is a follow up to the previous Chairs-in-Office conferences and meetings on that subject.
