The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine continues to raise awareness among legal community on the practical and gender aspects of the constitutional complaint and invites all motivated candidates who are interested in the practical aspects of preparing and submitting a constitutional complaint, as well as its gender dimension, to participate in an open online training "Non-discrimination. Practical aspect of constitutional concept".

The training will be useful for legal practitioners, bar, legal aid clinics and human rights NGOs, with further using the knowledge gained to provide assistance to members of vulnerable groups on effective access to a constitutional complaint.

The training will cover the following topics:

Topic 1: Theory of non-discrimination: gender aspect

• Theory of non-discrimination

• Dignity and non-discrimination

• Multidimensionality of gender equality

• Gender and society: how I can make an impact

Topic 2: Multidimensionality of non-discrimination

• Practical dimension of right for non-discrimination

• Non-discrimination and supporting measures: concept of gender quotas

• Egalitarian concepts of equality and non-discrimination

• Open discussion: practical dimension of non-discrimination

Topic 3: Non-discrimination: practical aspect

• How to right constitutional complaints to protect the right for non-discrimination

• Practice of constitutional complaints drafting

• Admissibility of a constitutional complaint: what you need to know, common mistakes

• Gender equality, antidiscrimination and dignity in court proceedings

All participants who have attended at least 90% of the training will receive certificates, as well as the opportunity to participate in the selection for the final training on this topic, which will be held in person in November in one of the cities of Ukraine.

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine supports diversity and inclusiveness, and thus encourages interested women and men candidates from all national, religious, ethnic and social groups to participate in this training.
