Why does the registration form ask for the country where I live?
This information helps us to provide you with a more personalized service. If we know the country where you live, we can better inform you about new content on the website that is likely to be of interest to you. All the information you provide in the registration process is kept strictly confidential and is not used for any other purpose.
How can I receive more information on a specific topic?
Log in with your e-mail address and password. Go to 'Change services', select any inactive items that you would like to receive information about and save your selection. Then go to 'Change preferences', select the institutions, bodies, etc or regions you would like to receive information about, and save your selection.
I have subscribed, but don't seem to be receiving any e-mails.
There are number of possible reasons for this:
- Your e-mail system may have a spam or junk mail filter that is filtering out e-mails from the domain osce.org. If your e-mail software has folders named 'spam' or 'junk mail', check these to see if they contain any e-mails from the OSCE. You may be able to configure your e-mail software to always allow messages from osce.org. If not, ask your IT department to do it for you.
- You may have suspended your profile and not yet reactivated it. Please log in with your e-mail address and password and check that your profile is active.
I would like e-mails sent to two e-mail addresses.
The simplest way of doing this is to configure your e-mail software to automatically forward e-mails from osce.org from one of your e-mail addresses to the other. If your e-mail software does not allow this, you can also subscribe twice, once with each e-mail address. If you do this, however, you will have to update both accounts whenever you want to make changes.
I would like to edit my profile/unsubscribe, but I have forgotten my password.
First request a new password by clicking on the 'Forgot your password?' link on the main subscription page and sending us your e-mail address. Your new password will be e-mailed to you, which you can then use to log in and edit your profile or unsubscribe.
My e-mail address has changed, how can I change it in my profile?
It is not possible to change the e-mail address in an existing profile. Please unsubscribe and then re-subscribe with your new e-mail address.
I do not want to receive any mails for a short period of time. Is this possible?
Yes, you can suspend all services using the 'Suspend services or unsubscribe' link on the main subscription page. You can also suspend items on an individual basis by logging in and de-activating them. You can resume receiving e-mails at any time by logging in and re-activating the services. Your profile will remain stored in the database as long as you don't unsubscribe.
I would like to unsubscribe.
Click on the 'Suspend services or unsubscribe' link on the main subscription page. Enter your e-mail address and password and click the 'unsubscribe' button. Your profile will be completely removed from the system.
