The OSCE will sponsor and facilitate a joint needs assessment visit on port and container security with UNODC and the WCO within the framework of their joint Container Control Programme (CCP). The CCP supports the establishment of inter-agency port control units, comprising staff trained in risk profiling and advanced search techniques to target and inspect high-risk containers.
