Denmark

Denmark is one of the 35 participants of of the early CSCE negotiations in 1973, and a an original signatory of the 1975 Helsinki Final Act. In addition to hosting the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in its capital, Copenhagen, since 1992, it also chaired the Organization in 1997. It is represented by a Permanent Delegation to the OSCE and to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Every year, the political leadership of the OSCE rotates among the Organization's participating States. The country taking over the OSCE Chair co-ordinates activities and provides political direction throughout that year.
