Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan has been a participating State since 1992, after independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Since 1995, the country has hosted an OSCE field operation. Between 1995 and 2000, the country also hosted the OSCE Liaison Office in Central Asia. Uzbekistan is represented by a Permanent Delegation to the OSCE and to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
