Prior to taking up the agenda, the Chairperson expressed condolences to Georgia in connection with the recent flooding in that country. Georgia thanked the Chairperson for the expression of sympathy. Presentations by Mr. W. Richter, German Institute for International and Security Affairs; Lieutenant Colonel B. van der Molen, Deputy Commander, Benelux Arms Control Agency; Mr. A. Zagorski, Head of Department, Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences; and presentation entitled “Sub-regional arms control – lessons learned”, by Major General M. Torres, former Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office for Article IV of Annex 1-B of the Dayton Peace Accords (Croatia (also on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia, Annex 1). Situation in and around Ukraine. Regional seminar on mine clearance, held in Minsk from 9 to 11 June 2015. United States of America’s 2014 Department of State report entitled “Adherence to and compliance with arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament agreements and commitments”. Plans to deploy military equipment on NATO’s eastern flank (Ukraine, Annex 2).

Security Dialogue: Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 – presentations by Ms. B. Aitimova, Chairperson of the Informal Working Group on Gender Issues; Mr. A. Häikiö, Adviser, Ministry of the Interior of Finland; and Ms. M. Beham, Senior Adviser on Gender Issues, Office of the Secretary General (Kazakhstan, also on behalf of Austria, Finland and Turkey, Annex 1). The Forum for Security Co-operation agreed to forward the letter from the Chairperson of the Forum for Security Co-operation to the Chairperson of the Permanent Council on the 2015 Annual Security Review Conference. Situation in and around Ukraine (Ukraine, Annex 2). Multilateral military exercises to be conducted in the Baltic Sea from 5 to 20 June 2015 and in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland from 8 to 19 June 2015. Financial contribution to the small arms and light weapons project in Ukraine (Germany, Annex 3). Financial contribution to the project on the disposal of hazardous chemicals in Albania (Norway, Annex 4). Second Annual Meeting of the OSCE Points of Contact on United Nations Security Council resolution 1540, held in Belgrade on 27 May 2015 (Serbia, Annex 5).
