The Netherlands

The Netherlands is one of the original signatories of the 1975 Helsinki Final Act, participated in the 1973 CSCE negotiations, and has played a central role in shaping the Organization’s institutional efforts by hosting the High Commissioner on National Minorities. The country also chaired the Organization in 2003. The Netherlands is represented by a Permanent Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna and to the Parliamentary Assembly in Copenhagen.
