The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva, will visit Moldova on 16 and 17 January.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva, will be in Ukraine, his first visit since Finland assumed the Chairmanship at the start of the year.

High Commissioner on National Minorities of the OSCE, Ambassador Knut Vollebaek, will discuss the situation of national minorities with Kosovo's newly-formed government and ethnic communities.

Participants in the debate will include representatives of the Government, media, IC, relevant ministries, Commissioner for Public Importance and NGOs.

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo's project aims to build the capacity of Kosovo's legal aid system through training sessions for legal aid lawyers. The programme, which began on 2 October 2007, consists of eight training sessions in total.

An exhibition of the best 50 photographs from the OSCE Mission to Moldova's 2007 photo contest on the theme of "Diversity::Identity". The exhibition opens on 14 December at 16:00 hrs and runs until 5 January.

Under this project, eight civil society organizations from Tetovo and eleven from Kumanovo were trained on enhancing their capacities in the field of project cycle management, resource management, public relations, and coalition building.
