As part of Media Literacy Week, the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine is launching a series of interactive online workshops for university students, high school students and young leaders from different regions of Ukraine.
The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv and the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
During the workshops, participants will learn how to:
- verify information and assess the reliability of sources;
- identify disinformation and manipulation;
- critically analyze content on social media;
- recognize how biases and stereotypes, including gender stereotypes, influence the way information is perceived.
The workshops will have a practical focus: participants will analyze real-life examples, discuss current information-related challenges and have the opportunity to engage with Ukrainian and international experts.
The first online workshops are scheduled for:
- 26 October 2026 at 12:40
- 28 October 2026 at 14:10
To participate, please complete the registration form: here
The workshops will mark the beginning of a regular series of sessions held twice a month, helping young people develop critical thinking skills and become more responsible consumers of information.
