The 2026 OSCE Asian Conference will address “Countering Transnational Threats in the Digital Era Through Enhanced Co‑operation in Asia and the OSCE Region.” The event will be co‑organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and the Organization for Security and Co‑operation in Europe (OSCE). It will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 28-29 May 2026.
This year’s Conference will bring together representatives from across the OSCE region and Asia to examine how digital transformation is reshaping the security landscape. Participants will explore strategic approaches to transnational threats, ways to reinforce economic resilience in the face of illicit financial flows, and the importance of media and information literacy in strengthening societal security.
The OSCE Asian Conferences provide an annual platform for dialogue between the 57 OSCE participating States and the Asian Partners for Co-operation (Afghanistan, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Thailand), offering an opportunity to exchange perspectives on shared security challenges and deepen long standing co-operation.
