About
The conference brought together about 100 participants, including policy makers from governments, roads and highway administrations, railways operators and infrastructure managers, and other key players from the member countries of the UNECE Trans-European Motorways (TEM) and Trans-European Railways (TER) projects, as well as representatives from international organizations.
During this conference the work on the Trans-European Motorways and Trans-European Railway, including potential linkages with the Central Asian region and issues on the funding of the road and rail investment projects, were discussed. The conference also offered a platform for participants to share experience and lessons learnt from financing arrangements, including public private partnerships.
