This two-day seminar is a follow-up to the 18th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum.
The aim is to raise awareness of senior representatives of customs, border guard, transport and other relevant border-related agencies in OSCE participating States in Central Asia and the South Caucasus - as well as two of the OSCE's Asian Partners for Co-operation, Afghanistan and Mongolia - of how a lack of integrity in their work negatively affects the economic and security situation of their respective countries.
The seminar is expected to raise participants' knowledge of the tools available to tackle the issue. A set of national, tailor-made follow-up activities may be envisaged at a later stage.
