Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan has been an OSCE participating State since 1992, following its independence from the Soviet Union. The country has hosted an OSCE field operation since 1998. Kazakhstan held the OSCE Chairpersonship in 2010, during which it hosted the Astana Summit. Kazakhstan is represented by a Permanent Mission to the OSCE in Vienna.
