VILNIUS, 28 September 2011 - The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis, calls for resumption of Belgrade - Prishtinë/Priština dialogue as a way forward in resolving outstanding issues.
“I regret yesterday’s violent incidents in northern Kosovo and reiterate my call to refrain from violence and join the calls by the political and community leaders for calm,” said Ažubalis.
“Dialogue is the only way forward. The Belgrade - Prishtinë/Priština talks are a forum where concrete steps can be taken for the good of all communities. The OSCE is committed to supporting a stable and secure environment and we will continue to work closely with our international partners”.
