OSCE Chairperson condemns attacks in Grozny

VILNIUS, 31 August 2011 – The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis, today condemned the suicide bomb attack in Grozny, the capital of the southern Russian republic of Chechnya.
“I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed, and my best wishes for a swift recovery to those injured,” he said. “I mourn the loss of innocent lives and I condemn this attack which has disrupted the peaceful celebrations for Eid al-Fitr.”
