Press release, 31 October 2007: OSCE Youth Forum highlights the role of young people in safeguarding security and human rights
The Spanish 2007 OSCE Chairmanship is organizing a forum to bring together representatives of young people from OSCE participating States and from Partners for Co-operation in Asia and the Mediterranean. The event will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss the OSCE's role, its principles and values, and the involvement of young people in promoting OSCE objectives.
The focus of the 2007 Youth Forum is on diversity, integration and the environment, all of which are related to the OSCE's focus on security and co-operation.
