Conference on Reinforcing the Area of Freedom, Security, Justice and Prosperity in the EU and its Neighbours

The event represents the first initiative to promote a comprehensive and horizontal approach to migration issues while taking into account EU priorities in managing migration and security through regional cooperation and dialogue, in collaboration with EU candidate, acceding and neighbouring countries.

The main themes of the conference are: 
1.Migration and External Relations
2.Security and migration policies
3. Justice and migration policies
4.Prosperity and stability through shared responsibilities in migration management.

Organized by: The conference has been organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Government of Belgium currently holding the Chairmanship of the OSCE and is held under the auspices of the Austrian EU Presidency and in partnership with several EU Member States and neighbouring countries.
