OSCE relaunches e-mail subscription system

VIENNA, 20 January 2006 - The OSCE is re-launching its e-mail subscription system today. The user-friendly system, which is open to the general public as well as media professionals, has been substantially upgraded and now offers the following features:

All subscribers can:

• receive automatic notification by e-mail of press releases, features and publications when these are posted on the OSCE website;
• choose only the topics, field operations and institutions or regions about which they would like to receive news;
• suspend services for a short period (for example, before going on vacation).

In addition to the above, media professionals can:

• receive automatic notification by e-mail of OSCE media events in Vienna (where the Organization has its Secretariat) or all locations;
• choose whether to receive full text e-mails or just summaries.

All existing subscribers are recommended to visit the OSCE website and take a look at the new system. Please log in, check your profile and make any necessary changes so that it accurately reflects your current requirements.
