OSCE Chairperson-in-Office condemns kidnapping of Turkish diplomatic personnel in Mosul

BERN, 12 June 2014 - OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Swiss Foreign Minister, Didier Burkhalter, condemned the attack against the Turkish consulate in Mosul, Iraq, during which personnel from the consulate and family members were taken hostage. Burkhalter expressed his solidarity with the fellow OSCE participating State Turkey and called for the unconditional and rapid release of the abducted Consul and all other hostages.
