About
The OSCE Economic and Environmental Dimension Implementation Meeting (OSCE)
The EEDIM is held once a year in Vienna, to review the implementation of the commitments undertaken by the OSCE participating States through various Ministerial Council decisions. It provides a framework to enhance dialogue and co-operation on key thematic areas within the second Dimension.
From 09.00 to 10.30, the Opening Session will take stock of the implementation of the OSCE commitments in the field of environment and security.
The welcoming remarks of the opening session will be streamed live, via www.osce.org/live.
The session, will be moderated by Ambassador Igor Djundev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of North Macedonia to the OSCE, Chairperson of the OSCE Permanent Council, and addressed by:
- Ms. Hristina Odzaklieska, Deputy Minister of Environment and physical planning, North Macedonia
- Mr. Ralf Ernst, Acting Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities
Together with the Economic and Environmental Forum, the EEDIM serves as a key platform where participating States discuss current and emerging economic and environmental challenges with an impact on security in the OSCE region.
