About
Three years after the second Gender Equality Review Conference in 2017, the conference will review progress in the implementation of the 2004 Action Plan for the Promotion of Gender Equality.
The aim of the conference is to promote a more systematic implementation and targeted activities in priority areas for gender equality in the OSCE’s three dimensions of security. To this end, the conference will focus on three areas: Women in the Security Sector, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Women’s Political Participation. It will also provide space to discuss emerging issues that affect the promotion of gender equality in the OSCE region, including how the OSCE’s work links to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Livestream
The opening session will be live streamed on 27 October 2020, 13:00 – 14:00
