About
This is the first conference of the Slovak OSCE Chairmanship and will be opened by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák.
It will gather political leaders, government representatives, as well as stakeholders from academia, civil society organisations, and the media, providing a forum for facilitated discussions about challenges and good practices in addressing anti-Semitism.
Four panels will address the security of Jewish communities and individuals; the role of education in addressing Anti-Semitism and promoting Holocaust remembrance initiatives; the role of the media and social media; the role of the civil society and coalition-building to address anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance and discrimination.
This high-level conference is a follow up to the Italian OSCE Chairmanship’s International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Region, which was held in Rome last year.
