This conference will bring together civil society representatives, government officials, law enforcement, journalists, the staff of women's shelters, and other interested parties.
The event will describe the scope and impact of domestic violence in Azerbaijan through statistical and anecdotal data, discuss relevant laws in detail, inform participants about international experience and best practices, and provide a forum for discussion with the government and civil society about how these experiences may be applicable in the local context.
