About

It aims to raise awareness of the need for such a climate to promote further economic development in Azerbaijan; to increase the target audience's understanding of the various aspects and mechanisms that contribute to a business enabling environment; and to familiarize participants with examples of the practical application of these concepts in the context of Azerbaijan.

The seminar will feature lectures on the principles and recommendations outlined in the OSCE Best Practice Guide for a Positive Business and Investment Climate, which was translated into Azerbaijani in 2008. There will also be presentations by development organizations implementing projects in this field.

Seminar participants will include advanced students of economics, business administration, international relations and related fields, as well as representatives of relevant government institutions and the private sector.
