The report covers a 2007 project that monitored the situation of female lawyers in Azerbaijan. It was aimed at determining the problems, shortcomings and gaps in legislation and practice that create obstacles in their professional development.
The project included analyses of relevant legislation, collection of statistical data (including the representation of female lawyers in regions), and opinion polling among female lawyers.
