CALL FOR APPLICATIONS! Training for journalists on reporting about domestic and gender-based violence

The purpose of this training course is to support media outlets and journalists to better understand the phenomena of domestic and gender-based violence as well as inform them about ethical and professional principles, which have to be taken into account when reporting about domestic and gender-based violence.

There will be two three-day training courses organized: one for Baku-based journalist in June/July 2015 and the other for journalists based in the regions in October 2015. A total of 40 journalists will be selected to attend the training courses (20 journalists for each training session). 

Interested journalists should fill in the attached application (please see the link below) and send it to the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Baku to Aygun Huseynli, e-mail: Aygun.Huseynli@osce.org, by 12 June 2015.

A panel consisting of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Baku and the Azerbaijani Press Council will review the application and select participants for each training session.
