About
Organized by the OSCE, in co-operation with the Ministry of the Interior of the Kyrgyz Republic, the purpose of this workshop is to promote the development of partnerships between the police and civil society in Kyrgyzstan, mainly through the use of community policing tools, to counter violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism while protecting and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms. The seminar participants are intermediate-level police and civil society experts, as well as advisors and staff from decision-making instances in relevant Ministries.
