Financial intelligence and law enforcement professionals in Armenia sharpen skills for tackling criminal use of virtual assets at OSCE workshop

Financial intelligence and law enforcement professionals from Armenia completed an intensive training on investigating the misuse of virtual assets at a three-day, expert-level workshop organized by the OSCE, in co-operation with the Financial Monitoring Center (FMC) of Armenia, from 18 to 20 June in Yerevan.

Between April and June 2025, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in partnership with the Centre for Digitalization of the Transport Sector under Tajikistan’s Ministry of Transport (MoT), organized a series of practical training sessions on the “Kartateka” digital platform. A total of 105 Ministry staff members (34 women and 71 men) from across Tajikistan, including Dushanbe, Hissor, Bokhtar, Garm, Khujand, and Khorog, participated in the training programme.

On 2 and 3 June, the OSCE facilitated a study visit to Gibraltar for Moldova’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). OSCE supports initiatives to promote trade and transport connectivity in Central Asia

The three events included the Expert Group Meeting on Regional Co-operation for Transport Connectivity Simplification in Central Asia, the Second High-Level Working Group on the TUTIT (Tajikistan–Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan–Iran–Türkiye) Multimodal Corridor Digital Connectivity, and the Working Group on e-TIR Implementation in Central Asia.
