About
Alper Coşkun, Deputy Director General for Security and Intelligence at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will brief representatives of OSCE participating States in Vienna about the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) and opportunities for possible OSCE-GCTF collaboration.
The GCTF was launched in September 2011 as an informal forum bringing together 30 founding member parties to strengthen international civilian counter-terrorism co-operation and complement other ongoing multilateral efforts with the close support and involvement of the UN. The U.S. and Turkey are currently co-chairing the Forum.
