About
The OSCE Secretariat's Gender Section is organizing a two-day conference in Sarajevo on 27 and 28 October 2011, with an aim to discuss how to improve the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325, on Women, Peace and Security—and to further promote practical steps to advance its implementation within the executive structures and among OSCE participating States.
The conference will bring together local and international experts from the whole OSCE region and will invite contributions by international and local organizations such as NATO, the country and regional offices of UN Women, EUFOR, EUPM and NGOs, such as Žene Ženama.
