Mobile Youth Work. Training of Trainers

The OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine in co-operation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the state institution “All-Ukrainian Youth Center”, in partnership with Democracy Reporting International (DRI), announces a competitive selection process for a five-day Training of Trainers for the “Mobile Youth Work” programme. 

Mobile youth work makes it possible to provide young people with services and opportunities directly in their communities, including in communities that do not have permanent youth centres or other dedicated spaces for young people. This approach helps bring youth work directly to young people, making support easier to access and tailored to their needs and local realities. 

The training is open to professionals with experience in youth work and facilitating non-formal education activities who are ready to subsequently deliver training under the “Mobile Youth Work” programme.

The aim of the training is to prepare a pool of trainers who will be able to deliver training under the programme and contribute to the development of mobile youth work at local and regional levels.

During the training, participants will:

• deepen their understanding of key concepts, formats, and methodologies of mobile youth work; 
• explore outreach and detached youth work;
• strengthen competencies in facilitation, group dynamics, and interactive learning; 
• work with tools for assessing young people’s needs, planning outreach activities, ensuring safety, and conducting monitoring and evaluation;
• practice delivering training sessions. 

Participation in all training days and modules is mandatory. Accommodation and meals will be provided to participants by the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine.

The training will be conducted in compliance with applicable safety requirements. In the event of an air-raid alert, participants will have access to an equipped shelter.
