VIENNA, 15 June 2026 – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will hold the Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) in Vienna on 17-18 June 2026. Organized by the 2026 Swiss Chairpersonship, the Conference is one of the OSCE’s main events for fostering dialogue on regional security issues and will bring together high-level officials and diplomats from the Organization’s 57 participating States.
At a time of heightened geopolitical tensions and evolving security threats, participants will exchange views on key challenges facing the OSCE area and on the Organization's role in promoting security, stability, and dialogue. As the war in Ukraine continues, it remains essential to preserve channels for dialogue on security and to bring together all key actors on a common platform.
Following the opening session, which will start at 10:00 on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, Chairman-in-Office and Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, and Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu will be available for a press briefing.
Media representatives wishing to attend the press briefing are kindly requested to register by 16 June at 16:00 (CET) by sending an email to press@osce.org with your name, outlet and position.
