The OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and the Aspen Institute Kyiv announce the call for participants for the seminar “Justice, Law and Society”, which will take place on 27–31 May 2026 in Zakarpattia.

The seminar is intended to create a platform for dialogue among professionals in the field of jurisprudence who aim to reflect on the philosophical foundations of state and legal reality through the Western philosophical tradition.

Participants will, over the course of four days, take part in moderated dialogues incorporating elements of the Socratic method – reading and discussing texts by classical and contemporary thinkers, sharing their experience, and seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their professional mission.

We invite professionals in the fields of jurisprudence, public administration, human rights advocacy, professional journalism, and academia, who have an active civic position and are leaders in their respective fields, to submit their applications via the link.

Applications are open until 12 April 2026.

Participation is free of charge and based on a competitive selection process.
