Albania

Albania became a participating State in 1992. In addition to chairing the OSCE in 2020, Albania hosts the Organization’s Presence in Albania, which was established in 1997. Albania is represented by a Permanent Delegation to the OSCE and to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Albania as OSCE Chair 2020

Every year, the political leadership of the OSCE rotates among the Organization's participating States. The country taking over the OSCE Chair co-ordinates activities and provides political direction throughout that year.
