About
The conference aims to facilitate co-operation and promote best practices among regional organizations, allowing them to exchange information on achievements and make recommendations.
Discussions should help to identify areas where more action may be needed as well as encourage organizations to be more active and influential in combating the illicit trafficking in small arms and light weapons. The event will also support ongoing UN efforts to match resources with requirements to aid organizations in implementing the Programme.
The conference is funded by Finland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway and the United Kingdom.
