About

The sessions will look at existing programming for women and examining ways of improving coverage for these groups. Editorial teams will be encouraged to give vulnerable groups a platform through which their opinions and concerns can be expressed, empowering individuals to make informed decisions and engage with decision-makers. The training will also highlight issues such as inclusion, anonymity, confidentiality, interviewing techniques and use of sources.

It is anticipated that journalists will ensure the participation and representation of vulnerable groups. The views of female experts will be sought, particularly in fields which are traditionally male-dominated. Programme makers will engage with a range of civil society sources, ensuring greater sensitivity and credibility.
