Resilient Means Undefeatable. Roadmap for Institutional Resilience of Youth Centre and Youth Space Teams
In the context of a long-term crisis and growing challenges related to the war, the resilience of youth infrastructure is becoming particularly important. This roadmap is a practical tool for managers, specialists and volunteers of youth centres and youth spaces, as well as for local authorities and those who work with youth at the regional level.
The publication reflects the shared experiences and collaborative efforts of participants in the OSCE Café series, which united youth workers and representatives from youth centres and youth spaces across all regions of Ukraine. The roadmap comprehensively covers the key components of resilience:
- Institutional sustainability - the ability of an organisation to maintain its mission, adapt to change and work in the interests of young people in conditions of uncertainty.
- Resource sustainability - effective management of finances, material and information resources, and building sustainable partnerships.
- Human capital sustainability - team support, competence development, management of expertise and keeping staff motivated.
- Mental sustainability - caring for the psychological health of teams, creating conditions for emotional recovery and professional resilience.
The roadmap was developed as part of the project 'Involving and Supporting Youth in Crisis Management and Post-Conflict Rehabilitation in Ukraine", implemented by the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the State Institution "All-Ukrainian Youth Centre". The publication is available in Ukrainian language.
