Justice, Law, and Society

Deep reflection on principles and values that stand behind the legal texts can provide a new perspective on how the justice system can better serve its purpose and protect the rights of people. The "Justice, Law, and Society" seminar aims to foster dialogue among professionals in law, governance, and human rights to explore the philosophical foundations of society. Through moderated discussions based on the Socratic method, participants will engage in critical analysis of classical and contemporary legal thought.

This seminar will provide an opportunity to:

• Engage in in-depth discussions on justice, human rights, and the role of the state
• Explore different perspectives on the relationship between law, morality and values
• Develop a deeper understanding of legal philosophy and its meaning for modern governance

The event is open to professionals in jurisprudence, public administration, human rights, journalism, and academia who have an active civic position and are leaders in their respective fields.
