About

As a result, the Permanent Council decided on 21 September 2000 that the Police Monitoring Group would cease operations as a distinct unit within the OSCE Mission to Croatia by 31 October 2000.

It also authorized the Mission to appoint experienced international civilian police officers and integrate them into the Mission. The decision was taken in recognition of the stabilizing security situation in the Danube region and the steady improvement in the performance of the local police.
