Chernihiv: Urgent Need to Address Explosive Threats

Ambassador Henrik Villadsen, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator visited Chernihiv on Friday, 3 June 2022, to discuss with partners from recently created Mine Action Center their needs in clearing war-affected territories from mines and other explosive objects to restore safe life for communities of the region, heavily affected by recent hostilities.

Ukraine’s deminers face an immense task of searching residential areas to find unexploded shells, mortars and bombs to enable reconstruction of buildings and safe life of local people.
