The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in co-operation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, East Europe Foundation, and the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) will organize six regional two-day seminars " Public Funding for Civil Society: New Rules of Electronic Contests System."
The purpose of the events is to train civil servants and representatives of civil society organizations to use the electronic contests system for identifying recipients of public financial support for civil society initiatives.
The following topics will be considered at the seminars:
- new legislation for contests;
- rules of work with the electronic system of contests and the practical part of the work with the electronic system;
- how to prepare cost estimates;
- practices of conducting contests;
- basics of project management for public organizations;
- how to tell about the project and find the target audience;
- tender procurement procedures for civil society institutions;
- how organizations can find funds for their own contribution.
We invite representatives of local authorities who conduct contests to finance projects of public organizations, and representatives of civil society institutions to take part in training seminars to be held according to the following schedule:

- Kharkiv, 14-15 September 2021
- Dnipro, 16-17 September 2021
- Vinnytsia, 20-21 September 2021
- Kyiv, 23-24 September 2021
