The main goal of the Conference is to review self-regulation mechanisms effective for securing higher standards of journalism in Ukraine, share and explore international experience, as well as to discuss ways to improve Ukrainian practices in this field. The Conference will bring together representatives of the national government, non-governmental organizations, journalists as well as leading international experts in the media field.
The conference is organized in the framework of the project "Strengthening the Self-Regulation of Ukrainian Media", implemented by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Norway, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America.
