Summer School for future social workers and psychologists

The event aims to acquaint future social workers and psychologists with the best European practices of social workers in providing services and psychological assistance to victims of trafficking in human beings. Within four days the participants will have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge in the field of social problems prevention caused by trafficking in human beings, in particular as regards the trends and risks of the problem, the ways of avoiding such situations and the availability of assistance. Participants will also be introduced to the best European practices of the work of social workers and psychologists in providing services and assistance to the victims.

Students of 4-5 courses of higher educational institutions with the degree subjects in sociology and psychologists are invited to participate in the summer school. Applications will be reviewed on a competitive basis. All applicants must complete the Google Form by June 18, 2019: https://forms.gle/44bncsHUFQUm7xsJ8 The results of the selection will be announced by June 25, 2019.

Requirements for participants:

Summer school is open for students of 4-5 courses of higher educational institutions with the degree subjects in sociology and psychologists. The working language of the school is Ukrainian.

The application must consist of:

• Completed application form.  
• Motivation letter (no more than 500 words) indicating the purpose of the participation in the event and expectations from the event;
• Candidates who provide the Certificate on passing an online course for teachers "Countering Human Trafficking in Ukraine" will have an advantage over others.

Expenses of participants:

Participation in the summer school is free of charge. Travel expenses, accommodation and meals are provided by the organizers.
