Information and training manual for the security sector experts “Women. Peace. Security”

The manual is designed for specialists working in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and, particularly, in the National Police. The manual provides information and general concepts on existing international and national legislation, highlights gender issues in Ukraine, and serves as a guide to help victims of gender-based violence, including conflict-related. The manual pays particular attention to describing policies aimed at ensuring gender equality in and by the security sector, as well as highlighting ways to appeal and investigate cases of gender discrimination and provides good practices in the democratic development of the security sector and promotion of gender equality in it. Available in Ukrainian only.
