The purpose of this hearing is to facilitate a discussion on legislative process in the parliaments of European countries with respect to the role and functions of the standing committees in this process as well as to develop a model of committee powers that would be most appropriate for the Armenian Parliament.

The OSCE Office provides an international expert to share his experience with Armenian counterparts.
