About

The workshop will bring together some 200 participants from 50 countries, 12 international structures and 30 private sector organizations. It will provide a forum for experts to network with their peers and to discuss options for co-operation on non-nuclear critical energy infrastructure (CEI) protection. Issues addressed will include methodologies to assess risks and threats, measures to protect non-nuclear CEI and enhance resilience, as well as the need for multi-stakeholder co-operation and co-ordination to effectively secure non-nuclear CEI. The workshop will feature a tabletop simulation based on a scenario developed in collaboration with two NGOs from the United States.  The workshop will conclude with a brainstorming discussion among all participants on challenges in protecting non-nuclear CEI and options for international action, including further activities within the OSCE framework.
