About

This training on international human rights standards and domestic legislation is being held for representatives of civil society organizations monitoring penitentiary institutions, in particular new members of the Penitentiary Monitoring Group, as well as members of the National Preventive Mechanism under UN OPCAT and representatives from Armenia's Human Rights Defender's Office and Expert Council. The training is delivered by local and international experts and aims to help strengthen human rights protection and monitoring in Armenia’s penitentiary institutions.
